Privacy Policy

This privacy policy provides you with information about how and why we process the personal data of our members.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

Training tracking. To manage and monitor your training with us, we will record your training history, i.e., your visits to our training centers, your registration and cancellation of group training sessions, your participation in group training sessions, your use of a personal trainer, and your other use of our training services. If you choose to share it with us, we will also process information about your health, such as physical injuries or illnesses.

Online training. To manage and monitor the use of our web-based services, we will record your login details (username/password), your searches, your previous recordings, and the favorites you save.

Purchases. If you make purchases in our online store, we will process data about your purchases for accounting purposes, i.e., what you bought, the time of purchase, and the amount.

WHO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA WITH

We will treat your personal data confidentially. However, we must share personal data with other entities to effectively carry out the functions and purposes described above.

HOW LONG WE KEEP PERSONAL DATA

We retain your data as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned above. After that, we delete it. Unless you consent otherwise, this generally means:

Data on training history and information about online training are deleted no later than 6 months after membership has ended.
Data on training-related services are deleted continuously.
Data on purchases are deleted after 5 years in accordance with accounting laws.
Data regarding violations of our security and conduct rules are deleted at the end of the exclusion period and any associated probation period. The length of the exclusion period depends on the severity of the violation.
Data for sending newsletters and marketing are stored as long as you consent to receiving newsletters and marketing from us.

We may choose to anonymize the personal data instead of deleting it, meaning that we keep the data without it being possible to link it to you as an individual.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have several rights under the GDPR. You can contact info@davidsam.se if you wish to exercise any of the rights listed below or if you have other questions, comments, or want more information about our processing of personal data. We will respond to your message as soon as possible, usually within one month. Please note that there are several exceptions and limitations to these rights, meaning we do not always need or can allow you to exercise them.

Right to access and information. You can request confirmation of whether we process personal data about you and, if so, receive a copy of that data along with certain additional information about the purpose of processing, categories of personal data, recipients to whom the data has or will be disclosed, storage periods, and your rights to request correction, deletion, restriction, and objection to processing. You also have the right to information about the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten) and about the source of the data, as well as the existence of automated decision-making and certain additional information.
Right to rectification. If you believe the personal data concerning you is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request correction or completion.
Right to object. When we process personal data based on our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing at any time. If we cannot demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds to continue processing, we must stop. You also have the right to object to our processing of personal data for marketing purposes. If you object, we will cease such processing.
Right to withdraw consent. When we process personal data based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. We are then obliged to stop processing your personal data based on that consent going forward.
Right to restriction. In certain cases, for example, if you have objected to our processing, contested the accuracy of data, or if the processing is unlawful, you can request a restriction on processing your personal data. By requesting restriction, you can, for a certain time, prevent us from using your data except to defend legal claims or prevent deletion if you need the data for claims.
Right to erasure. You have the right to have your personal data deleted if we no longer need it for the purposes it was collected for, you withdraw your consent, you object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds, your data has been unlawfully processed, or we are legally obligated to delete your data.
Right to data portability. You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transfer it to another data controller.
